Ingredients

  • 225g zwieback
  • 5 apples, 700 g apples
  • 100 g raisins
  • 200 g sugar
  • 2 packs, 16 g vanilla sugar
  • 500 ml milk
  • 4 eggs (L)
  • 750g quark (20%)

Instructions

  1. Prepare quark mixture: First, prepare the quark mixture. Add the raisins, sugar, vanilla sugar, milk, eggs, and quark together.
  2. Now, cut the apples into slices.
  3. Layering: Then, layer the ingredients in a large casserole dish as follows: The first half of the zwieback makes the first layer, then the first half of the quark mixture is the second layer, and lastly, the first half of the apples makes the third layer.
  4. Repeat: For the second half of the ingredients, repeat this process, resulting in a total of 6 layers.
  5. Bake: Once layered, place the casserole in the oven and bake for 40 minutes at 160°C top/bottom heat.
  6. Enjoy: In the end, enjoy the casserole with vanilla sauce.
