Ingredients

  • 200g white chocolate
  • 180g butter
  • 4 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 6 large eggs
  • 80g sugar
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 2 packets 16g vanilla sugar
  • 140g wheat flour
  • 60g coconut flakes
  • 100g chopped almonds, skinless
  • 80g white chocolate, chopped
  • powdered sugar, optional

Instructions

  1. Choosing the baking pan: Note: These Blondies can be baked in a cake pan or on a baking sheet.
  2. Grease the cake pan or baking sheet.
  3. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) top/bottom heat.
  4. Melt the chocolate and butter: Next, melt the chocolate and butter for the filling in a water bath.
  5. Beat the sugar and eggs: Meanwhile, mix the sugar, vanilla sugar, brown sugar, and eggs in a bowl with a hand mixer until foamy.
  6. Add flour and coconut flakes: Then sift the flour into the bowl and add a pinch of salt and the coconut flakes.
  7. Stir in chocolate and oil: Now, the chocolate and butter should be melted. Add the oil, stir briefly, and then add it to the mixture while stirring constantly.
  8. Do not overheat the chocolate: Important! The chocolate should not stay too long in the water bath, or it will clump.
  9. Add almonds and chocolate: Finally, add the filling, i.e., the almonds and chopped chocolate. The dough is now ready.
  10. Bake: Pour the dough into the pan and bake for 13-15 minutes, but not longer.
  11. Sprinkle with powdered sugar: Before serving, you can sprinkle powdered sugar on top – and the Blondies are ready.
